Constructicon Ltd are one of the largest Civil Engineering and Groundwork Contractors in the North West of England. We continue to exceed client’s expectations, improve productivity, reduce programme period and excel in the area of Health and Safety. Constructicon endeavours to achieve the core principal of exceeding the expectations of our client’s whilst providing the most effective, timely and commercially viable civil solution to any construction project. Our objective is to create relationships and repeat business based on trust, transparency and collaboration whilst providing quality within the workmanship provided by all of our construction team, from inception of the project within the office, to the completion of the project out on site. Constructicon have the proficiency, competence and available management personnel to offer all our clients single point responsibility from the initial site reduce level excavation up to substructure brickwork……and further if required by the client. Constructicon will guarantee the adoption and consequent transfer of ownership of any drainage scheme (all in accordance with the Water Industry Act section 104 and 185) or the adoption of a private street or development to the appropriate council ensuring that all subsequent maintenance has been transferred from the client (All in accordance with section 38 Agreement of the Highways Act). To put it simply, constructing the foundations of our client’s designs, desires and dreams is our passion and reason for our existence as we strive to be not only the number one groundwork company in Manchester but throughout the North West.

Constructicon believe in offering our clients the most qualified and health and safety conscious workforce possible. All our operatives at present are qualified to NVQ Level 2 in a construction related discipline, at the very least. In order to ensure that the company complies with the latest Health and Safety Legislation, Constructicon has procured the services of Greater Manchester Construction Ltd (https://gmctltd.co.uk/), who act as their principle Health and Safety Advisor. Constructicon’s Health and Safety vision is built around the Health and Safety Executives mission statement to “Prevent death, injury and ill health in Britain’s workplaces” as we wish to achieve zero injuries and zero instances of work-related ill health. These principles are underpinned by our fundamental belief that all workplace injuries and instances of occupational ill health are preventable at every level within the construction cycle, commencing within the office environment through comprehensive and effective site specific Method Statements, Risk and COSHH Assessments all the way through to site level via regular tool box talks, extensive personal protection equipment rules including the compulsory wearing of gloves and the undertaking of face fit tests of every Constructicon operative. Constructicon WILL NOT carry out any works unless the works can be done safely and the operatives undertaking the task are fit for purpose and obtain the appropriate skills certification. Constructicon are currently CHAS, Builders Profile and SafeContractor accredited ensuring that all Health and Safety matters are up to date with current legislation.
